Woweewow! The Year 3s put on an amazing Art Exhibition which was a culmination of their "How We Express Ourselves" unit of inquiry. They worked on developing their art skills and techniques which they then used to produce artwork, sharing their creativity, feelings and ideas with the school community and their parents who came to visit! We hope you enjoy admiring these works as much as we have!

What a Fabulous Friday it was for the 8 Hong Kong island based schools who came to Kennedy School for the HKPSSA Under 11s Island Racquet Sports Festival! 124 students took part in doubles competitions in Table Tennis, Tennis or Pickleball under the watchful eye of ESF West Island Schools Year 9 Sports Leaders who assisted with umpiring and keeping score. Congratulations to William and Takehiro who won the 4th seed Table Tennis section and well done to all 30 of our Kennedy racquet sports players who participated in this event!

✈️. ʏᴇᴀʀ 6 ꜱᴛᴜᴅʏ ᴛᴏᴜʀ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇɪᴊɪɴɢ🏯
Oh what an adventure!
After 7 months of preparation, 118 Year 6 students and 17 Kennedy School staff took 207 travel documents, 264 packs of medication (and their suitcases) and travelled over 2,000 km to see Beijing and learn about its culture and language. We moved around in 3 buses, slept in 70 hotel rooms and walked over 23 km (about 45,000 steps), including 1,100 steps up to the Great Wall. It was the first time our students travelled overseas without their families and they did incredibly well! Best bits? Tobogganing down the Great Wall, making dumplings (and eating them!), running around 798 Art District, watching death defying acts at the acrobatic show, hearing stories about ancient China and eating all the incredible food. Many thanks to The Hutong for a fabulous time. Well done Year 6! We are incredibly proud of you all!!

A huge thanks to our families for supporting the Celebration of Learning last Thursday. It was so special for the children to have family in school, showing them what they’ve learned - their strengths and stretches - and sharing their school experiences together in and outside the classroom. There was a carnival feel as families explored the school enjoying the playgrounds, garden, library, Hub, picked up books, trinkets, 2nd hand uniforms and refreshments by the PTA. What a lovely way to end the term!

✈️. ʏᴇᴀʀ 6 ꜱᴛᴜᴅʏ ᴛᴏᴜʀ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇɪᴊɪɴɢ🏯
Oh what an adventure!
After 7 months of preparation, 118 Year 6 students and 17 Kennedy School staff took 207 travel documents, 264 packs of medication (and their suitcases) and travelled over 2,000 km to see Beijing and learn about its culture and language. We moved around in 3 buses, slept in 70 hotel rooms and walked over 23 km (about 45,000 steps), including 1,100 steps up to the Great Wall. It was the first time our students travelled overseas without their families and they did incredibly well! Best bits? Tobogganing down the Great Wall, making dumplings (and eating them!), running around 798 Art District, watching death defying acts at the acrobatic show, hearing stories about ancient China and eating all the incredible food. Many thanks to The Hutong for a fabulous time. Well done Year 6! We are incredibly proud of you all!!

A huge thanks to our families for supporting the Celebration of Learning last Thursday. It was so special for the children to have family in school, showing them what they’ve learned - their strengths and stretches - and sharing their school experiences together in and outside the classroom. There was a carnival feel as families explored the school enjoying the playgrounds, garden, library, Hub, picked up books, trinkets, 2nd hand uniforms and refreshments by the PTA. What a lovely way to end the term!

Woweewow! The Year 3s put on an amazing Art Exhibition which was a culmination of their "How We Express Ourselves" unit of inquiry. They worked on developing their art skills and techniques which they then used to produce artwork, sharing their creativity, feelings and ideas with the school community and their parents who came to visit! We hope you enjoy admiring these works as much as we have!

What a fabulous day it was for the 8 Hong Kong island based primary schools - @kellettschool , @hkfis , @gsishk, @dbisint.school , @esfqbs @esfglenealy , @esfbradburyschool who came to @esfkennedyschool for the hkpssa Island Racquet Sports Festival! 124 students took part in doubles competitions in table tennis, tennis or pickleball under the watchful eyes of the Year 9 Sports Leaders from @wis_hk who assisted with umpiring and keeping score. Congratulations to all 30 of our racquet sports players who participated in this event!

What a Fabulous Friday it was for the 8 Hong Kong island based schools who came to Kennedy School for the HKPSSA Under 11s Island Racquet Sports Festival! 124 students took part in doubles competitions in Table Tennis, Tennis or Pickleball under the watchful eye of ESF West Island Schools Year 9 Sports Leaders who assisted with umpiring and keeping score. Congratulations to William and Takehiro who won the 4th seed Table Tennis section and well done to all 30 of our Kennedy racquet sports players who participated in this event!
